BrasFoot 2009 is a game where you are a football coach. In this game, you buy and sell players, set tactics, participate in club and national competitions, and much more. You will be responsible for a large part of the duties of a real coach. Matches are decided based on your decisions and also by pure luck.

The game focuses on managing football teams, so the graphical part is practically nonexistent, relying on the player's imagination. Still, this type of game is popular among football enthusiasts. The pioneer was Elifoot 98, and later other similar games emerged, such as Brasfoot.
