Enpass 6.11.16

Use only one master password to protect all your important data.

Description

Enpass is a password manager that stores data encrypted locally on the device, with the option for synchronization through services like iCloud, Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Nextcloud, or WebDAV servers. Security is based on AES-256 encryption, PBKDF2 key derivation, and a master password set by you, which is never sent to the cloud.

The program allows you to store logins, credit cards, personal documents, private notes, and authentication keys. It supports the creation of multiple vaults, making it easy to separate work, study, and personal life information. Internal audits check the strength of passwords and signal duplicates or credentials considered weak.

Enpass integrates with browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari for automatic filling of credentials, and also offers applications for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS. The automatic filling also works in apps and in protected fields of the operating system, as long as the extension or helper service is activated.

Usage can be completely offline, with no dependency on external services, if you prefer to keep vaults solely in local storage or on manually synced devices. There is also support for biometrics (when available on the system) to quickly unlock the vault without exposing the master password during everyday use.
