Fate/Grand Order is a mobile turn-based RPG developed by Delightworks (currently Lasengle) and published by Aniplex, part of the Fate franchise by Type-Moon. Released in 2015 in Japan and globally in 2017.
The game allows players to take on the role of a "Master" in the organization Chaldea, which seeks to preserve human history. The gameplay involves collecting and training "Servants" — characters based on historical, mythological, and fictional figures — to combat in strategic battles against enemies. The combat system uses cards to execute attacks, abilities, and "Noble Phantasms" (special skills). The narrative is divided into chapters of the main story, temporary events, and side missions, with a strong emphasis on plot and dialogue.
The game operates on a free-to-play model with microtransactions, where players can spend real currency to summon new Servants or acquire items. It also offers collaborative events and regular content updates.
