Intel PresentMon 2.4.1

Software for analyzing and monitoring graphical performance that measures frames, presentation times, and GPU and CPU data in games and graphic applications.

Description

Intel PresentMon is a free software for graphics performance analysis and monitoring on Windows, designed to capture and measure detailed metrics of frames, presentation times, and GPU/CPU telemetry in games and graphics applications.

PresentMon provides:

  • a configurable real-time overlay that shows graphs and numbers such as frame rates, histograms, and moving averages directly over games or applications;
  • advanced metrics such as the so-called “GPU Busy”, which helps to understand the workload balance between CPU and GPU and identify performance bottlenecks;
  • combined capture of GPU telemetry and performance, gathering technical data in a single utility for analysis during or after a session;

The software has broad support for graphic APIs (DirectX 9/11/12, OpenGL, Vulkan) and works on both Intel hardware and that of other manufacturers. It also offers command line options for batch testing or automation and remains an open-source tool, which can be integrated into third-party solutions.

PresentMon can record detailed performance data, such as frame times, GPU/CPU utilization, and other exportable metrics for external analysis.
