Since its initial version, WinSnap was designed to capture windows with rounded corners on Windows XP. With the release of Windows Vista, the program was improved to support the transparency of the title bar and native window shadows. Today, WinSnap even surpasses native tools, such as Windows Snipping Tool, especially when dealing with window effects in Windows 11.

Editing and Annotation Tools

In addition to capturing images, WinSnap offers simple editing features, allowing you to add arrows, lines, shapes, and texts without the need for a full image editor. It also offers tools like the Brush, for drawing smooth curves, and Pixelate, for quickly removing sensitive information from captures.
