Description

Xreveal is a free software that enables real-time decryption of DVDs and Blu-ray discs, allowing playback or copying programs to access content without protection blocks. The project strictly follows the official public specification of AACS, serving as an interoperability tool. It does not include internal keys or BD+ FUT data, so you need to manually provide decryption keys or compatible databases.

The software functions as a filter in the system, intercepting access to the optical drive and removing protections such as AACS 1.0/2.0, BD+, BDAV, CSS, CPRM, CPPM, and Digital Audio CD restrictions. It also supports region fixes, allowing temporary changes to the Blu-ray playback region, which is necessary when dealing with discs purchased in different markets.

Xreveal automatically detects when a protected disc is inserted and applies real-time removal, enabling video players, ripping tools, and multimedia editors to access content without needing additional manual decoding processes. It supports SCSI and SATA drivers, as well as compatibility with drives that use official firmware, without the need for hardware modifications.

The program logs detailed operation logs, making it easier to technically analyze the protection formats present on the disc. Frequent updates add compatibility with new variants of AACS and BD+, maintaining a focus on research, interoperability, and predictable behavior according to the public documentation of the standard.
