Description

FBackup is a free backup software developed by Softland for Windows, created to help you protect files and folders through automatic or manual copies. The program works with two main backup modes: full and mirrored. In full mode, the data is compressed into standard ZIP files, allowing space savings and compatibility with external tools. In mirrored mode, the files are copied exactly as they are, preserving original structure and formats without compression.

FBackup allows you to schedule routines so that the task is executed on the days and times you choose. The scheduling mechanism uses the internal Windows service, ensuring operation even without intervention. It supports multiple backup sources, such as local disks, external drives, network locations, and USB devices.

The program offers password encryption to protect compressed files, and it also keeps previous versions depending on the chosen configuration. FBackup uses a plugin mechanism to allow you to add specific backup profiles, such as documents from popular programs, browser favorites, and application databases.
