Description
Memtest86 is a utility that allows you to perform a series of tests on RAM memory sticks for x86 computers. These tests are intended to identify instability problems.
RAM memories with this kind of instability can cause a number of problems such as corrupted data, crashes and unexpected machine behavior.
Tests are performed from a bootable flash drive by booting the machine. Diagnosis can take several hours, so it is recommended to leave the software running during a period when the computer is not being used.
