Description

ShutdownPerformanceView is a small utility developed by NirSoft to analyze the time taken by Windows during shutdown and reboot processes. The program reads directly from the Windows event logs and presents detailed information about each occurrence, allowing you to check how long the system took to stop services, terminate processes, and complete the shutdown.

The software displays data such as the date and time of the event, total shutdown duration, service stop time, kernel shutdown time, and identification of the event type, such as normal shutdown, restart, or unexpected failure. This information helps you identify abnormal delays and understand possible causes of slowness when shutting down the computer.

ShutdownPerformanceView does not require installation and can be run from any folder or removable device. It also allows exporting results to text files, HTML, or CSV, making it easy for later analysis or sharing the data. The program is compatible with various versions of Windows and works without the need for additional components.
