LEGO Digital Designer is a program developed by the LEGO Group that allows users to create virtual models using digital pieces from the LEGO line. Launched in 2004 and officially discontinued in 2016.
With it, you build 3D constructions by selecting blocks from a digital catalog that faithfully reproduces the brand's physical pieces. It is possible to rotate, move, and connect the elements, simulating the actual fitting. The program also offered different viewing modes, project export in compatible formats, and even integration with LEGO services, such as the old "Design byME," which allowed users to purchase custom sets.
Although it no longer receives updates, LEGO Digital Designer can still be used to explore building ideas and visualize creations before assembling them with physical pieces.
