SystemRescue is a Linux system rescue tool that allows you to manage and repair systems after failures. Available as a bootable media, it facilitates administrative tasks such as creating and editing disk partitions. It includes several essential utilities, such as GParted, fsarchiver, filesystem tools and editors, as well as network tools and Midnight Commander.
SystemRescue can be used on both desktops and servers (Linux or Windows). Although it does not require installation, it can be run directly from CD/DVD or USB and also allows installation on the hard drive if necessary. It supports a wide range of filesystem types, including ext4, xfs, btrfs, vfat, and ntfs, as well as network filesystems like Samba and NFS.
